Dashboard access FAQs
In most cases you can sign in by visiting https://urbanwaterguide.com/wp-admin/ (it will redirect to the login screen if you’re not signed in) or https://urbanwaterguide.com/wp-login.php. You’ll need a WordPress username or email address plus your password for an account with at least Editor access to manage content.
Try going directly to /wp-admin in your browser, or add /wp-admin/ to the end of the site URL. If you still don’t see the admin bar, your account may not have the right role, or the toolbar may be disabled in your profile. Use the steps on our Dashboard page to confirm your role and regain access.
First, double-check the URL (use /wp-admin or /wp-login.php) and try a different browser or an incognito/private window. If it’s still not loading, clear cache/cookies, temporarily disable VPN/ad blockers, and confirm the site is online. A hosting issue, maintenance mode, or a security plugin can also block access—contact your site admin/host if it persists.
On the login screen, click “Lost your password?” and enter the email address tied to your WordPress account. Follow the reset link sent to your inbox (check spam/junk). If you don’t receive the email, verify the address is correct or ask an administrator to trigger a reset or update your user email from the Users panel.
